Senior Project Update 2

So far my senior project has gone very well! I have largely been able to get through the OST with little to no writer's block so far. There have been two main obstacles so far; staying out of the way musically, and writing to characters and their storylines.

For all the storylines and intertwining arcs in this game, the music should still take a back seat. It is HARD to not overwrite and make the flashiest, most banging music ever. However, some of the simpler stuff has also been an outlet, as some of the music can be so simple to be pleasing. There are some songs where I literally use one instrument with a simple melody, and that is all that some of the background music really needs to be.

I plan on diving into my process for writing for a character next blog post. It should be a really fun one to write and read. I feel good about my project as everything winds down.
